Public Laneway / map

There are currently more than 650 neighbours in Dundas who are opposed to the privatization & perment closure of the Public Laneway, which connects Alma to Victoria, near Sydenham. (updated 2017-04-05)

The vast majority of the people who are trying to save the Public Laneway are concentrated in the immediate vicinity.

This neighbourhood includes the Cross-Melville Heritage Conservation District and the surrounding area, stretching from York Road and the Dundas Driving Park westward to Market St and beyond; and from King St northward to the escarpment.

All these people, along with their friends & family, use the Public Laneway because it provides connectivity and flow through the neighbourhood for school children, parents, seniors, dog-walkers, joggers, cyclists, and so on.

As you can see on these maps, the neighbourhood includes schools, churches, parks, day care, and thriving downtown Dundas.

The Public Laneway is an integral part of our safe, walkable, bikeable community.

Many of the blank spots you can see on these maps are simply neighbours who have not yet added their name to our delegation. If you would like to join, or if you know someone who should join, we would be delighted to put you on the map. Please contact us at:
